I have worked at different LCHS sites, each had its own legacy referral pathways to Fracture Clinic. eTrauma provided consistency across all sites as well as improved accountability and governance of the referral process. This is the cornerstone to developing a beautiful collaboration between UTCs and the T&O team. The data from eTrauma will be invaluable to streamlining the process and providing evidenced feedback to both the Orthopaedic Consultants and UTC ACPs.

We piloted eDerma and were provided comprehensive data reports to audit and prove its value. eDerma is now running in 3 of our sites, with a total of 5 nurse-led clinics each week. eDerma has successfully triaged over 1000 patients. The eDerma team have been very supportive and efficient throughout the pilot and implementation stages and is still at hand with support for staff using the system. It was not easy implementing change but eDerma is a great asset for any department and also gives nursing staff an additional skill. eDerma system also handles our minor op bookings and automatically creates the doctor's letters, saving time for overwhelmed admin staff.
